The Dublin Children's Court is considering a criminal case in which an Irish miner and his friends are accused of physically assaulting and robbing people, including a Saudi student who graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons and was preparing for the graduation ceremony.
The incident occurred last November when the 14-year-old boy, accompanied by his friend, brutally assaulted and robbed a Saudi doctor on a public street in the Irish capital, Dublin, hit him in the head at repeatedly and stabbed him all the way to the point of losing consciousness.
The police concluded that the accused had committed the same crime against three people, including one only 15 minutes after the student aggression. The judge requested that the case be transferred from juvenile court to criminals because of the excessive violence and criminal behavior of the accused, He was supported by the prosecutor.
The student was seriously injured, he was not able to attend the graduation ceremony at the university the next day nor the right to return to Saudi Arabia at the time of the accident because of the severity of his injury requiring additional treatment.
