The Eighth International Conference on Vitamin D Deficiency, which ended yesterday in Abu Dhabi, called for scaling up the means of early detection of vitamin D deficiency in all age groups and to provide appropriate treatment to patients.
In his recommendations, he stressed the need to standardize the measurement of vitamin D in the country and develop the strategic plans necessary for correct diagnosis, early detection and treatment. The conference, organized by the VBS Health Care Group, recommended the dissemination of available information to specialists in all fields on the benefits of vitamin D deficiency treatment, particularly in areas where it has proven itself, such as as pregnancy, cancer, heart and respiratory diseases.
