The Sudanese customs authorities have proposed to review the value of the customs dollar and reduce it in the next 2019 budget. Importers welcomed this idea, after having increased this year to 18 pounds instead of 6.9 books. These imports were reduced by 20% due to the rise of the customs dollar.
