Zamalek players celebrate Khalid Boutaib's goal at the vanguard of the army

The leaders of Zamalek have so far struggled to reach an agreement with the Moroccan trade union officials to keep Khaled Boutaib until the meeting of Arab entrepreneurs.

"There have been contacts with the Moroccan federation and we have not received any final response so far," said Amir Mortada Mansour, general supervisor of the Zamalek football team.

"I think things will be difficult," he said.

"It's hard to find Bouteib in front of Arab entrepreneurs because the Moroccan team has important matches and wants to have a basic striker with the team from the start."

"We have not yet received a final answer but it is difficult to obtain an exception from the Moroccan union for Bouteib as we did with Ferjani Sassi."

Khaled Boutaib is on the Moroccan team to prepare for Malawi and Argentina.

The first match of the Moroccan team will take place on March 18, after the meeting of Zamalek against Algerian Nasr Daisy and just before the White Knight against Arab Contractors in the league on March 20.

The Moroccan team is preparing to face Malawi on March 22 in the sixth and final round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Previously, the leaders of Zamalek had managed to conclude an agreement with the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) on the continuation of Ferjani Sassi until the meeting of Arab entrepreneurs. (See details)
