Cadillac firmly believes that sedans still have a promising future despite the predominance of the SUV Crossover and its sister SUV in most of the market during the current period.
The company unveiled its new car, the CT5 2020, to replace the CTS, which did not have the expected success before being presented to the public at the New York auto show next month.
The company has retained the "flagship" design of the new car, but "the front" has a more daring look than what consumers had used to see in Cadillacs.
Engine 1 says that the interior has received more aesthetic additions of wood and leather in the seats and in the middle.
The Cadillac CT5 2020 will be launched with two rear-wheel drive systems and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.
The company will also introduce a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, powered by a 10-speed automatic transmission, which the site promises is "barely perceptible".
The company has not yet revealed the price of the new car, but engine 1 announced that the price would be lower than CT6, which starts at around 220,000 riyals.
