DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Al-Ahly Saudi has announced the type of injury suffered by its Syrian star Omar Al-Sumah during the Al-Hilal match in the Zayed Cup semi-final for champion clubs and set the period of his absence.
Al-Ahli said in a statement released Tuesday on the official Twitter page that the medical tests carried out by the sum revealed that he had a sprained ankle.
Al-Raqi said in his statement that Al-Akeid, as the Ahli fans would call, will be inactive for two weeks, according to the medical program developed by the medical team.
The striker suffered this injury in his team's Al Hilal match in the Zayed Cup for Champions Clubs semifinal, which ended in Al Hilal's own goal.
