The Directorate General of Tourism and National Heritage and the Jeddah Labor Office have seized two offices working in the tourism sector and market the "time-sharing" activity without valid licenses.

The director general of the National Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in the Mecca region, Mohammed Al-Omari, said the Authority conducts ongoing inspection campaigns to monitor activities targeted marketing or through offices that marketed unlicensed tourism activities and apply sanctions to companies in breach, close to the facility and fined accordingly.

Al-Omari warned against contacting certain Sher Time marketers, either individually or through travel and tourism agencies, who mislead citizens and residents by offering them unrealistic offers and fake and unreal international offers, inviting citizens and residents to report any irregularities by calling 19988 Visit a branch of the Authority in different parts of the Kingdom or visit the Commission's website.

The Director General of Tourism Mecca said that 114 minutes of Sanctions Committee sitting had been lifted during the quarter, 3 closed establishments, 15 violations of all tourist activities seized and 2 licenses, one for the housing and the other for travel and tourism.
