According to Business Insider, Canada tops the list of the healthiest countries in the world, while two Arab countries rank among the top 20 countries, according to Business Insider, according to the Global Perspective magazine devoted to research and studies in health care.

The new global classification of 2019 has identified the best countries with healthy citizens, in return for countries whose citizens do not enjoy good health care.

The Indigo Wells Welfare Index – which collects data for this classification – is one of the most comprehensive indicators, covering 191 countries around the world.

Egypt ranked 18th among the 20 worst-performing countries in the health sector. The index attributed the occupation of Egypt to this late status to the lack of public spending on health care, an increased risk of diabetes and obesity rates.

Iraq ranks ninth in terms of health problems, due to factors such as inactivity, low life expectancy, lack of state health spending, declining happiness and the high rate of obesity.

The index was ranked in descending order, ranking first among the worst performing countries to reach the most powerful country in the world, earning a status of 191.

Ironically, the Republic of South Africa was the worst-performing country in terms of health (first place), with the lowest rates for all the criteria set by the index, particularly with respect to Obesity, alcohol consumption and life expectancy.

The index was based on ten criteria: healthy life expectancy, blood pressure, blood glucose (risk of diabetes), obesity, depression, happiness, alcohol consumption, tobacco, lethargy and public spending on health care.
