Xiaomi's Redumi subsidiary officially unveiled Redmi Note 7 on Jan. 10, and shortly thereafter, Redmi's CEO announced that his team would sell 1 million units of this phone in the month following its launch. After crossing this milestone in China, Redmi Note 7 has finally reached India and Europe, and now aims to reach 4 million units sold by the end of March.
Xiaomi's general manager, Mr. Lei Jun, published these forecasts on the Chinese social network Weibo, which was part of the conference at which Xiaomi unveiled its financial results last year. Using a simple mathematical process, it seems that the Chinese company sells 50,000 units of the Redmi Note 7 phone each day. Industry experts compare the success of the Redmi Note 7 to Huawei Honor 8X, sold to 10 million units worldwide, making it one of the most popular smartphones in the world.
It is likely that 4 million units sold will be added by adding Redmi Note 7 Pro numbers, but it is still an impressive feat. Sales of the Redmi brand are expected to increase significantly with the arrival of Redmi 7, the first of which will be sold within six days.
