Climate professor at the Department of Geography of Qassim Abdullah Al-Misnad University, he predicted that the temperature would drop from 2 to 5 degrees Celsius in Riyadh, as a result of afforestation projects.
Al-Misnad said during one of the episodes of "Ya Hala" on the "Rotana Khalijia" channel, that sites where temperatures will be forested will be ten degrees lower than those of other treeless sites.
He pointed out that the current river project, based on the idea of wastewater treatment, would be an open bank to invest this water in the possibility of cultivating Riyadh and the neighboring provinces.
He pointed out that Riyadh's green wall, which extends for about a kilo, will help filter the air and reduce temperatures.
