Julian Moore joined the film crew before joining Richard Grant
Richard E. Grant said that Julien Moore had been excluded from the movie "Can you forgive me?" Who was nominated for an Oscar because she wanted to wear a big costume.
Grant said that Moore also wanted to put a fake nose to embody the character of the writer Lee Esrail, but the director was not in agreement.
Nicole Holofschner said: "You will not do that," Grant told a crowd Wednesday in London.
Moore revealed this month that she had been excluded from the movie without giving details.
"I think she did not like what I was doing," she said.
Moore's exclusion of the film had been attributed earlier to the unspecified "fundamental differences", and featured Melissa McCarthy at the end of the writer's role Ariel in the film.

Speaking at the London Advertising Week in London, Grant said Helena Bonham Carter and Sam Rockwell had joined the film before him.
Grant, also known for his roles in Wesnell and Downton, has been nominated for an Oscar for his role in Jack Hawk.
The Irish actor Chris Udwood was to play for Moore until he discovered "at the last minute" that the filming would not continue.
Grant also revealed that he had received a phone call from British pop singer Jerry Halliwell, a member of the Spice Girls group, a day before.
He did not reveal the contents of the contact, but joked that he could fill the void of Victoria Beckham at the group meeting.

Grant stated that he still possessed some of the clothes that he had worn when he introduced Clifford, the group's director, in "Spice World" in 1997.
He also ridiculed comrade actors whom he described as "arrogant" when they blamed him for accepting a role in Spice Girls' only movie.
The actor said his appearance on a television show titled "Girles" in 2014 was due to the fact that the director of the show, Lena Dunham, was one of the film's audience.
"After that, singer Adele sent tickets for her concert, which was short of tickets, because she'd known me since the movie" World Spice "and that the payoff was double."
With the exception of Beckham, Spice Girls plans to give 13 concerts in Britain and Ireland from May 24 to June 15.
