Al-Khatib explained that she and her team had recorded in the laboratory the results of the experiment of these compounds on the neurons, after treating the cells and found that the neurotransmitters had increased and significantly increased, then treated the genetic modifications of a group of genes associated with Alzheimer's disease. Khatib has used a range of techniques in his research, including Western blot, ELIZA, qPCR, gene modification using CRISPR / CAS9 and other technologies.
