The organizing committee of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations has released images of the Cairo stadium, confirming its appearance.

"I went to the Cairo stadium to see all the development, maintenance and monitoring of the stadium, and the stadium was in good condition," the committee said on its Twitter account on Thursday night.

He added: "The organizing committee met with the stadium officials and the authorities responsible for the opening ceremony of the Africa Cup of Nations in order to define an integrated plan for the ceremony to take place. be presented in its most beautiful image while maintaining the ground.

Ali Darwish, CEO of the Cairo stadium, confirmed in a press release that 95% to 98% of the development of the stadium would be completed by the end of April.

Egypt will host the next edition of the Nations Cup from June 21 to July 19, 2019, the largest in the history of the African Championship, with the participation of 24 teams for the first time.
