A large number of employees of the company "Karim" will turn in the coming days to millionaires, after the sale of the company to "Ober".
It is expected that 75 of the company's employees will become millionaires, while 275 employees of the company in Dubai will receive about 1 million AED, or 270,000 USD, according to The National Business's website.
Four thousand employees of Kareem hold shares of the company and are sold as part of the deal with Ober, which of course includes neither the drivers nor the cabins.
Engineers and developers will be partners in the sales process and not just the founding partners.
200 employees become millionaires in dirhams, while 75 employees become millionaires in dollars.
According to the contract, which will be finalized by the end of next year, Karim becomes the property of Ober, while Karim manages its service independently.
Ober has published on its official website a press release announcing the finalization of its $ 3.1 billion Karim acquisition contract.
"As part of this agreement, Karim will be 100% owned by Ober and will operate as an independent company under the Karim brand and under the leadership of its founders," the company said in a statement.
Ober said the agreement was "the largest of its kind in the Middle East's technology sector".
Karim, based in Dubai, has also confirmed its entry into the second chapter of its history by joining the Ober network.
