The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, has issued a disclosure document implemented by the Office of Disclosure and Conflict of Interest of the Ministry of Health to make this ministry a model of integrity, transparency and honesty.

The "Afsh" office performs several tasks, the most important of which is the receipt of communications concerning acts involving violations of the disclosure and conflict of interest document. And the importance of protecting integrity and transparency by encouraging departmental departments to adopt special plans and programs, monitor their implementation and evaluate their results, and raise awareness of the concept of Disclosure and Conflict of Interest, Recommend to review the working methods and procedures of the "Health" Departments, which demonstrate the repeated violation by the employees of the provisions of the disclosure document and the conflict of interests with a view to Identify and correct weaknesses.
For his part, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources Health, Abdulrahman Al-Aiban, said that this document was a continuation of the efforts of the Ministry of Health and its commitment to implement the highest standards of integrity, transparency, justice, equality, prevention of conflicts of interest and reduction of administrative and financial violations. And the ethics of the civil service and in particular the "fifth section" which was entitled: Conflict of interest and fight against corruption.
He pointed out that this document applied to all the employees of the Ministry and that it was a tool intended to reinforce the importance of the role of the employee of the Ministry of Health and the development of his spirit of responsibility and that his approval would give meaning to the values and ethical principles of the Ministry of Health.
Al-Aiban added that the document would take place in three main stages, namely the start-up phase, inaugurated by His Excellency the Minister and started at the Ministry's office and all the health sectors and governorates, and Extending over three months starting March 25, an optional step for filling out the document by employees, and ends with full disclosure of the total number of employees of the department. At this point, each employee is required to complete the document and use self-service on a resource system related to packaging and approval, and the third phase is continuity and sustainability and STK. The document is available at any place and at any time so that all employees can be updated if information is disclosed in advance, and it will also be requested to update it periodically annually by means of information. a resource system, emphasizing that disclosure by the employee does not mean to violate it, but to protect it.
