A Moroccan and Spanish research team said they had access to an effective treatment for advanced prostate cancer, from skin and acid residues, announcing that the bullet was in the camp of pharmaceutical companies .
A group of Moroccan researchers from the Faculty of Science of Abdelmalek Saadi University of Tetouan and their colleagues from the University of Alcalá Henares, in the suburbs of Madrid, Spain, announced the discovery of An effective treatment of advanced prostate cancer, from peeling and acid residues.
The disclosure was made by the Arab Maghreb News Agency (MAP), according to researcher Mohamed Amin Al-Omrani, who led the Moroccan part of the research group.
The acid casings go through a process of distillation of water to obtain essential oils, whose chemical components are very rich (about 90%) in lemons and 100% natural.
"The lemons are then subjected to a simple chemical transformation to extract the soluble derivatives in water, ie in a physiological medium, and thus the possibility of thawing in the blood."
"This treatment is effective against prostate cancer, especially since fusion has always been a barrier to the effectiveness of anticancer drugs," he said.
"The second most important thing in this discovery is that the extracted molecules limit the development and transmission of the malignant tumor," he said.
He pointed out that "selective particles only attack infected cells".
"This discovery will prevent patients, especially those who do not have significant financial resources, from having significant side effects of chemotherapy that attacks all cells without exception," he said.
"This is a joint work of the Moroccan group at the laboratory of organic chemistry of the Faculty of Sciences of Tetouan, composed of 3 professors and 3 PhD students, one of whom has recently obtained a doctorate and a Spanish group led by Dr. Thomas Cuenca. "He said.
He concluded that "the next step is the most difficult, the bullet is now in the hands of pharmaceutical companies to manufacture drugs on an industrial scale and market this treatment".
