Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Assaf said that Saudi Arabia rejected the interference of Iran and its militias in several Arab countries, saying that the ballistic missiles of Iran and its militias are still in danger. Iran posed a threat to regional and international security, while holding Iran accountable for what was happening in Yemen. He underscored the support of UN efforts and UN envoys to Yemen, Syria and Libya, highlighting support for Syria's territorial integrity and the political solution based on on the dialogue between the opposition and the regime. He stressed that Saudi Arabia wanted to unite the Syrian opposition before Dialogue with the system.
Al-Assaf highlighted the Saudi rejection of President Trump's statement on the occupied Golan, stressing that it was a Syrian Arab land, while rejecting any measure affecting the historical status of Jerusalem .
The Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist act that targeted the worshipers of mosques in New Zealand.
