The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has issued a circular to health authorities to suspend the use of 3 preparations prepared by Dox Saudi Pharma.
This decision follows the decision of the Registration Committee of pharmaceutical companies and their products to suspend the registration of all production lines of the Saudi pharmaceutical company Dox and to suspend the registration and the removal of all operations of these products for non-respect of good manufacturing bases (GMP).
The first product bears the trade name: VEGGIE VITAMIN D3 50000 I.U. Soft gelatinous capsule, scientific name: VITAMIN D3 (CHOLECALCIFEROL), registration number: 2-5046-18, for all operations.
The second product bears the trade name: VEGGIE VITAMIN D3 50000 I.U. Soft gelatin capsule, scientific name: VITAMIND3 (CHOLECALCIFEROL), registration number: 3-5046-18, for all operations.
While the third product bears the trade name: VEGGIE Vitamin D3 5,000 IU, scientific name: VITAMIN D3 (CHOLECALCIFEROL), registration number: 1-5046-18, and for all operations.
The Authority is committed to withdrawing all preparation operations from all beneficiaries.
