The dollar appreciated against the pound sterling on the banks of the Suez Pond and Suez Canal Thursday compared to Wednesday's level, while the price has stabilized in seven other banks.

The dollar price increased by two cents in the Suez Canal Bank to 17.28 pounds on the purchase and 17.38 pounds on the sale.

The price of the US currency increased by one penny to Al Baraka Bank, rising to 17.28 pounds on the purchase and 17.38 pounds on the sale.

The dollar has settled on banks in Ahli, Egypt and Alexandria at 17.26 pounds at the purchase and 17.36 pounds for sale.

The US dollar maintained its level at Arab African Bank at 17.27 EGP and 17.37 EGP for sale.

The dollar was settled at Commercial International Bank and Credit Agricole at 17.28 pounds at the purchase and 17.38 pounds at the sale.

The US currency remained stable at ADIB at 17.29 EGP and 17.38 EGP for sale.
