The Arab Association for the Development of Pharmacists is organizing the third conference of Arab pharmacists on Saturday, attended by more than 500 pharmacists from all Arab countries, all disciplines.

The conference is chaired by Dr. Khalid Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Sadat University, and chaired by Dr. Samer Rifai, Secretary General of the Conference, and by Dr. Afaf Ramadan, Professor of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University, and by the chairman of the scientific committee. Conference President Khalid Abu Zeid said Arab pharmacists were eager to attend the conference. He added that the gathering of all influential Arab pharmacists in their field will lead to the development of the profession.

Dr. Samer Rifai, General Secretary of the Conference, said he wanted continued coordination and the use of a selection of pharmacy professors from Arab universities in order to develop a sound scientific vision in the service of pharmacists from the hospital sector, noting that it was one of the few pharmacist-led pharmacist conferences.

He added that the conference will include a number of lectures and workshops, which will involve the most prominent specialists in the fields of the conference, whether they come from Egypt or from different Arab countries.
