American star Nicolas Cage was shocked by his appeal to the court to cancel his marriage license from his girlfriend, Erica Koike, just four days after being related.
The US court said that "Cage applied for a marriage license to beauty expert Quiki last Saturday, and received a marriage certificate the same day," according to the British newspaper "Mirror".
However, the 55-year-old actor asked for the wedding's cancellation a few days later, claiming that his 34-year-old bride "was eager to take his money."
The couple has been in public since April 2018, but has been involved since 2014 and seems to have tried to keep their relationship in the spotlight since its inception.
It was the fourth time that Cage was married, married for the first time to actress Patricia Arquette in 1995, separated in 2001, married to singer Lisa Marie Presley in August 2002 and officially divorced in 2004. In 2004, he married actress Alice Kim, and have a daughter, it's Cal-il.
