The CPA issued 15 decisions suspending and striking out registrars in the last three months due to several irregularities.
The Secretary General of the Authority, Ahmed Al-Maghames, said that the Authority had inspected 225 accounting offices since the beginning of the year 2019, indicating, according to the newspaper "Economic", that a number of violations of the provisions of the system of chartered accountants.
Al-Maghamim explained that the Authority issued 11 suspension orders and 4 delisting decisions from the legal accounting records.
The CA system requires citizenship to limit the person to the accountant's register, to obtain a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent and practical accounting experience for at least three years in an accredited office.
