Twitter launched the night mode for Android and iOS in 2016 and the company released Saturday a night mode for OLED monitors for devices using this type of monitor.
Twitter has announced a new feature called "Light Out", a feature that provides the right night mode for Twitter on the iOS platform. Enabling this feature changes the color of the UI in black instead of dark blue. This will keep the battery on your device, especially if your phone has an OLED display.
To activate this new night mode, go to Settings & Privacy, then from the Screen & Sound menu, and click the activation button next to "Dark Mode". This will give you two options, "Dim" and "Lights Out". Select the last option to get a black background. The old fashion is now called "Dim".
Before closing, we would like to point out that to date, no information is available as to when this feature will reach the Twitter application for the Android platform. However, we expect this to happen in the near future.
