The Jezzan court of execution ordered a hospital doctor to pay 100,000 riyals to compensate a citizen for his lack of work and his hysterectomy following a cesarean section.
The court has set five days to pay the amount of citizenship concerned and, in case of non-application, procedures and sanctions will be applied against him, according to the newspaper "preceded".
After considering a complaint filed by the husband against the doctor, Jizan's Forensic Health Committee found that the doctor's procedure was flawed and decided to fine him 100,000 riyals.
The citizen's husband stated that his wife had entered the hospital to give birth and the doctor had decided to perform a caesarean section, adding that she had had severe bleeding for 6 hours without medical follow-up, and then had stopped the heart, which required the work of pulmonary resuscitation with electric shock and hypnosis.
He added that the doctor had subsequently decided to participate in the eradication operation of the uterus, pointing out that he had asked her to sign several papers without knowing the contents.
