The US Department of Justice has accused a young American of breaking Apple's accounts for many athletes and celebrity singers and using their financial assets.

Kwamaine Jerell Ford, 27, of Georgia, has been accused of beating many athletes and players in several teams and sports, including NBA and NFL football, as well as several musicians and rappers.

The defendant used phishing and fraud in its hacking operations by sending them emails that appeared to be from Apple employees.

The Department of Justice has not revealed the names of the accounts involved, but Apple has received hundreds of unauthorized access to user accounts. The accused changed the e-mail address and password of the accounts after they were entered until they completely controlled them and prevented their owner from accessing them.

The accused used thousands of dollars in user balances to purchase items such as furniture, pay for travel, book trips and transfer money. Six counts, including computer fraud, fraudulent access to computer hardware, identity theft, etc., were charged with two counts of computer fraud and identity theft.

This case reminds us of a famous case that appeared in 2014 when four hackers hacked i-Cloud accounts for a number of artists and leaked their pornographic images of their accounts.
