According to recent reports, a new update of Wattab to be released soon for Android users will allow playback of videos in an external window after exiting the application via the PiP mode.
The next update of Watsab will allow you to continue playing videos after leaving the application.
Watasab launched PiP on iPhone for the first time last May and was extended to Wattab on Android in December 2018.
But PiP on Android only plays video in the conversation, which WhatsApp is currently publishing with a new beta.
With the Android 2.19.86 beta, the company has improved the PiP mode so that it works like on iOS, where the improved PiP continues to play the video in a small window if you leave the chat, browse the pages of the application or even I switched to another application, which was not yet available on the Android system.
The last update of Wattab is still being tested. It is therefore not available to all Android users, but should reach all users in the coming days.
WhatsApp also implements a new feature with this beta, which automatically reads consecutive voice messages. This feature has been developed since last November and is now enabled for users.
