Tunisian President Beji Caid Sibsi announced that he rejected regional and international interventions in the Arab region, stressing that it was unacceptable for the situation in the Arab world to continue.
"I propose that the Arab summit be called summit of determination and solidarity," said the Tunisian president in his speech at the Arab summit.
"We deny that the Arab region remains the theater of regional and international interventions," he said, stressing that the depth of the Arab presence was a strategic angle in the politics of Tunisia.
He added that "to ensure security and stability is not just a just settlement of the Palestinian issue," stressing that "a just settlement can only be achieved by the two-state solution and Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Palestine".
On the Libyan crisis, the president said: "Libya's security in relation to Tunisian security and the blocking of the situation in Libya affect everyone in logic, dialogue and consensus are the most effective way to end the Libyan crisis. "
"We renew our support for international efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis," he said.
He also drew attention to the need to speed up the pace of the political solution in Syria, stressing that "any solution in Syria must take into account the territorial integrity".
"The Golan is an occupied Arab land and we reject any measure to establish the status quo," he said.
"We call for continued regional and international efforts to restore the legitimacy of Yemen, and the crisis must be resolved in accordance with the Gulf initiative, the Stockholm agreement and other Security Council resolutions. United Nations, "he said.
He also stressed the need to seek to immunize young people against the scourge of extremism and terrorism, expressing the hope that Iraq would succeed in its efforts to rebuild the liberated areas.
"We must continue to strengthen the relations of the Arab countries with the rest of the regional groupings.We must also promote global development and citizenship to keep our societies away from the threat of extremism", he added.
"Efforts must be intensified to advance the economic integration relations between the Arab countries and the joint Arab action must be strengthened to meet the challenges," he concluded.
