Aboul Gheit added: "We reject all these interventions, their ambitions and their projects.We clearly say that the crisis is temporary and that it will disappear for any length of time. Regional integration of the Arab countries and their territorial integrity is unacceptable to the Arabs, in some of our countries, for example, we call security zones, and it is unacceptable that regional forces intervene in our affairs with the support of the Arabs. one faction or another under the guise of a sect.

The Secretary-General said: "There is no predominance in civil wars and Arab national security is exposed to unprecedented threats", stressing that "the Arab umbrella must be strengthened against regional interventions".

"We do not accept that regional states have homes in our Arab region," he said, noting that the US statement on the Golan is contrary to all international standards.

The secretary also stressed his rejection of any Israeli hegemony over the rights and achievements of Palestinians.
