The Interior Ministry on Tuesday pronounced a death sentence for the right of a tourist convicted of trafficking a quantity of cocaine drug in Jeddah province.
In a statement, the ministry announced that the Nigerian expatriate, Kudirat Idola Afolabi, had been arrested while she was believed to smuggle cocaine. The investigation culminated in the indictment of this woman.
After being sent to court, she was sentenced to death by a court of cassation, which upheld the judgment of the court of appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what had been legally decided.
