Arsenal were third in the Premier League standings with a 2-0 win at Newcastle United on Monday.

Egyptian international Mohamed Alneni took part in the match, which started on the bench before taking part in the 67th minute instead of Aaron Ramsey, the first goal.

Ramsay went on to qualify for Arsenal in the 30th minute and Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette added a second goal to Arsenal in the 83rd minute.

The victory took Arsenal 63 points to third place in the Champions League next season, while Newcastle was suspended at 35 points to stay 14th.

Liverpool is leading the English Premier League with 79 points, two points behind the second, Manchester City, less played.

Tottenham is fourth with 61 points, five points behind Manchester United, fifth.

Arsenal won its 19th victory of the season against six draws and six losses.

Newcastle suffered a 15th loss this season against nine wins and eight draws.
