A video clip of a snake, called "the pig's nose", is shown to defend itself by pretending to die to escape danger.
The video, published in National Geographic magazine on Twitter, shows the photographer who touches the snake with his finger; he reacts directly and shows slyly that she is dead.
The magazine pointed out that the "pig nose" snake was nontoxic and endemic in North America, stressing that it smelled of her body when she pretended to die, as a defense if she felt the danger.
A cunning snake claims to die and removes a nauseating odor from his body as a defense when he feels threatened to survive.
