As we said, we are learning today that Nubia Alpha will be launched on April 8 in China in all major electronics stores.

ZTE's subsidiary, Nubia, unveiled the Nubia Alpha Smart Clock at the 2019 Mobile World Congress organized by the MWC in Barcelona, Spain, last February. When we saw the initial evaluations of this device, we found that while he had some good ideas, the performance and user interface required even more work. However, the 4-inch OLED display may be suitable for those who appreciate the most features on the wrist.

As a reminder, Nubia Alpha is a smart watch with a flexible 4-inch OLED screen, produced in collaboration with Visionox. Since this device is primarily designed to work as a smart clock, the screen will be relatively narrow and very long knowing that it will also have a resolution of 192 × 960 pixels.

Nubia Alpha is already a smart watch, equipped with the Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, and includes 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. If you decide to remove the phone, you can use a 5-megapixel camera for video calling and taking pictures. Just rotate your wrist to point the camera in the right position, and there is plenty of screen to change the angle of view and keep it in the scene.

Nubia Alpha has a stainless steel structure, while the screen is coated with heat-resistant polyamide. The gold version of this smart watch is polished with 18K gold. As you might expect, all models of this smart watch are designed to withstand water and dust. They have been developed to offer all the usual health features of a smart clock, knowing that it also includes a heart rate sensor and can track your sleep.

The standard version of Nubia Alpha costs around € 450 and will be available in black only. As for the eSIM version, it will cost 550 euros, while the gold-plated version will cost around 650 euros. Before closing, we would like to point out that this smartwatch will arrive in China this month, but will then arrive in Europe in the third quarter of this year and in North America in the fourth quarter of this year.
