The Information and Communications Technology Commission (CTC) of Saudi Arabia unveiled its comprehensive analysis of the Kingdom's social media ICT market, indicating that the percentage of social media usage in the Kingdom is 91 , 7%.
The study, which included 10,000 telecommunication service users, revealed a disparity in the use of social networks by age group in 2018. The age group (20 to 24 years) was the most numerous age group using social networks, with 98.70% 29) ranking second with 98.10%, followed by age group (30 to 34 years) 97.40%.
According to the study, 93.20% of men use social networks in 2018, compared to 89.60% of women, and 90.80% of Saudis use social networks against 93.20% of non-Saudis.
The study showed that the area of Tabuk in the use of communication networks was 97.10%, followed by the regions of Mecca and the northern border with the use of 93, 40%.
