Japanese police raided the house of Lebanese businessman Carlos Ghosn to arrest him again

Tokyo, April 25 (Xinhua) – Tokyo police on Thursday raided the residence of Carlos Ghosn, in the Japanese capital, under the charge of financial corruption, Japanese media reported.

According to NHK and other local media, investigators entered Thursday in the temporary residence of the former Nissan group leader in central Tokyo to arrest him.

This development follows the announcement by Ghosn, in a tweet on Twitter, of his intention to hold a press conference on April 11th.

Ghosn was arrested in Tokyo in November. He was accused of financial corruption and breach of trust as a result of non-disclosure charges of $ 82 million in salary and the conversion of personal financial losses to Nissan's accounts during the financial crisis .
