Egypt maintained its position in FIFA's team classification and was ranked eighth in Africa and 57th in the world.

Belgium remains at the top of the rankings while Senegal remains in 23rd position on the continent.

Tunisia ranked second on the continent with 28 points, while Nigeria dominated Morocco and ranked third in Africa with four places at number 42.

Morocco fell to 45th and 4th place, followed by the Democratic Republic of Congo (46th), Ghana (49th), Cameroon (54th) and Egypt (57th).

Egypt lost nine points in the standings after two games in March, the first draw against Niger for a qualifying match in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers and the second defeat in a friendly match against Nigeria.

The top Arab teams in the standings are Tunisia, Morocco, Qatar (55), Egypt, United Arab Emirates (67), Algeria (70th) and Saudi Arabia (72).

Belgium, France and Brazil ranked first, followed by England fourth, followed by Croatia, Uruguay, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain. and Denmark.
