To expand– Researchers from the University of Manchester, UK, have concluded a study that the immune system in the lungs is breathed by the sugar solution vapor after boiling.
Andrew Macdonald, lead author of the study, said that macrophages in the lungs needed adequate glucose levels to function properly, as well as preventing infections and pneumonia, according to Erm News .
The researchers found that stimulating cells in the lungs, with more sugar, helps the immune system fight against bronchial infections that cause coughs, chronic lung diseases such as pneumonia and asthma, as well as potentially life-threatening effects such as parasitic helminthic infection.
