In a shocking incident, the CEO of the Twitter account, Jack Dorsey, was hacked, sending tweets and sending back other tweets that everyone could see, including racist slurs and insults to his 4 million followers.
Twitter said Friday that he was aware that the account was in jeopardy and that he was investigating what had happened.
According to one of the tweets published on Dorsey's account after his piracy, the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was innocent, while others contained racist comments against African Americans and Jews, as shown by his official page, a tweet indicating the presence of a bomb at Twitter's headquarters.
Shortly after the account hijacking, the abusive tweets were removed and the course of the Twitter action dropped by less than 1% after the discovery of the account hijacking.
