Hamad Al-Zaydi, the father of the two young men, overwhelmed in tears, recounted the difficulty of their condition and the difficulty of his position when he saw them in this condition, with the hospital monitoring their condition for 16 years. years, according to the official account of the Government Communication Center for Joint Media Action, via Twitter.
Dr Sulaiman Al-Sulaiman, a consulting retinal surgeon at King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital, said the first diagnosis of the two young men revealed that they had a mutation in a gene that made them “almost blind,” until ‘for a study to be published. in 2017 on safe treatment and in 2019 the treatment was provided in the Kingdom.
The two young men, Abdul Karim and Osama, expressed their great happiness at the return of the blessing of sight.
