In a comic dialogue on the official Confederation of African Football channel on YouTube, the Zamalek duo, goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim “Jensh” and striker Mostafa Mohamed, spoke of memories of the Champions League.
Zamalek is preparing to face Moroccan Raja today, Wednesday, in the return leg of the African Champions League semi-finals, after Ashraf Bencharki’s comrades won the unanswered first leg in Casablanca.
CAF TV posted a comedic dialogue between the two, in which they exchanged questions about Zamalek’s participation in the previous CAF Champions League and the current edition.
During the conversation, Jensh said he had many wonderful times with Zamalek, including winning the African Confederation Cup in 2019 at the expense of Nahdet Berkane.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Mohamed, the team’s forward, said his best game this season was the local super game against Al-Ahly, which Zamalek won, while Al-Ahly chose the second round of the league among the best, which saw Al-Abyad win 3 goals against one goal, and Mohamed scored a special goal.
Regarding the elements that Mustafa Muhammad wished to be in Zamalek with, he said: “I was hoping to play with Shikabala and Hazem Imam. Now I join Shikabala and I miss my participation with Hazem Imam.”
