On Wednesday, protests erupted in Zarqa, Jordan, in favor of King Abdullah's stance from Jerusalem.
The events took the title "We are all with you", attended by civil society, educational institutions, associations, clubs and cultural organizations, according to the Jordanian newspaper Al-Susannah.
The participants held banners bearing the inscriptions "Jerusalem is a red line" and "Yes to the Hashemite tutelage of the holy places of occupied Palestine".
The head of the decentralization council, Ahmed Alimat, said the purpose of the demonstration was to make the world understand that popular attitudes were in line with King Abdullah's positions on Jerusalem.
The Jordanian monarch, Abdullah II, said that the Palestinian issue remained a priority for the Arab countries, stressing that decisions must be taken to meet the aspirations and aspirations of the Arab peoples.
"We must make decisions that meet the aspirations and aspirations of our Arab peoples," he said in his speech at the Arab Summit in Tunis.
"The Palestinian question remains our priority as Arab states and we reject any attempt to change the identity of Arab Jerusalem".
"We must face the challenges of joint Arab action and we positively await the development of the political process in Iraq and hope to strengthen cooperation," said King Abdullah.
