A French military source said that one of the French soldiers had been killed and another seriously injured Tuesday when a French military helicopter crashed in Cote d Ivoire.

According to the source, a Gazelle helicopter crashed around 5 pm local time, 10 km from the commercial capital of Ivory Coast Republic, Abidjan city, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Said that the crashed helicopter follows the French forces in Ivory Coast (FFC) which has a large military base near the airport of Abidjan. The cause of the incident is not yet clear
