NASA warned that an asteroid of the size of the Big Ben clock building would rush toward Earth, reported the Daily Mail.

The space agency announced that the asteroid had to touch the ground at 12:55 pm today, at a speed of 30,422 miles at the time.

The asteroid calls it "MD8" and is launched 3 million kilometers from the Earth. This distance is very close to NASA, while Qatar would reach 85 meters high, the height of the famous Big Ben clock.

Sources have ruled out a major collision between an asteroid and Earth in the years to come.
