Ten teams, including an Arab half, qualified for the knockout stages of the 16th edition of the Asian Cup, hosted by the United Arab Emirates from January 5th to February 1st.
The Jordanian team was the first to qualify for the knockout stage of the continental championship, having won two consecutive wins in the second group, Australia, the champion with one goal and Syria with two goals.
Here is a list of the first teams qualified after the matches of the second round:
