Senegalese striker Sadio Mani denied rumors of a Tunisian wedding in his hometown of Sousse in January.
Tunisian media reported that Mani had invited a number of Liverpool players to attend his wedding in Tunisia, led by Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who had agreed to go to his colleague's wedding on January 5th.
But Mani has issued an official statement on his personal account on the social networking site "Facebook" in which he said: "I have learned the spread of a current event of my marriage in Tunisia, which I am Surprised and aroused my resentment "…". Or the public in Tunisia.
"I want to inform you that the alleged marriage does not exist and that all these rumors are unfounded," he said. "Now I'm concentrating on my career in Liverpool."
Mani stated that the published marriage documents did not represent him at all in response to the publication of documents constituting an official correspondence between the agent Mani and the Tunisian municipality of Sousse to guarantee the marriage.
