Abu Zahra said: What is meant by contrast is that the planet corresponds to the sun in the sky of the earth, a phenomenon that occurs whenever the earth falls between the sun and “Uranus”.

He added: The appearance of “Uranus” at the closest point to Earth is something that only occurs according to astronomical criteria. Because in fact, 2,810,639,880 kilometers from our planet; Which means Uranus is still a long way off.

And Abizaid: Since “Uranus” is at a crossroads; It will rise at sunset, reach its highest point in the sky at midnight, and set with the sunrise the next day.

Abu Zahira noted; For this, we know that when one of the planets is in reunion, it is in its most brilliant and best conditions, but for “Uranus”, its apparent luminosity will be (+5.7) so it will be like stars which are attenuated with the naked eye.

He continued: It will fall about 20 degrees east of Mars in front of the pregnancy stars, and the width of “Uranus” will only be 3.7 arc seconds, but that’s enough to see it under the shaped like a small fuzzy ball and not as a point through high powered telescopes, but even through small, well made telescopes.

The head of the Jeddah Astronomical Society said: To try to see Uranus with the naked eye, the observation must be done from a dark place, far from the light pollution of cities, as it can be easily seen through binoculars as a faint point of light, provided the observer can locate it using an app.

He added: During this year it will coincide with the meeting of “Uranus”, the presence of the moon; What will affect the observation of faint objects in the dome of the sky
