Al-Marsad Journal – Agencies: Major credit cards continue to embrace cryptocurrencies, allowing them to transact with them for the first time.
And “Visa”, one of the most well-known credit cards, has announced the possibility of settling its transactions using cryptocurrencies such as “Bitcoin”, and via the encrypted digital payment platform “Crypto.com”, according to what was reported by the specialized technician site “Engadget”.
With the move, Visa plans to expand its partners, and those measures will be implemented later this year, according to its statement.
Visa will tie the price of cryptocurrencies to the value of the US dollar, so that it is not subject to large fluctuations in the value of those currencies.
By this step, Visa seeks to simplify the payment process, by implementing the system of “crypto digital wallet”.
And companies like “MasterCard” and “PayPal” also operate similar procedures, allowing merchants to trade directly through cryptocurrency.
