Egyptian Handball Federation President Hisham Nasr revealed the reward for the players of the Egyptian Junior Team Handball World Champions at the tournament held in Macedonia.
The descendants of the Pharaohs crowned the World Junior Handball Cup for the first time in the history of Egypt, after defeating Germany 32-28, in an epic match in which the Pharaohs dominated the game throughout the match and finished the first period with six goals.
Hisham Nasr said in a message via the MBC Egypt satellite, that the Egyptian Handball Federation does not have the capabilities to offer great rewards to World Cup players.
"Each player will receive a reward of 1500 pounds because as an Egyptian federation, we do not have the means to provide great rewards.
"There is no list of rewards in the workers union, we, as the board of directors, make decisions with the available opportunities and we must get the agreement from the 39, administrative body to provide funds.We fully rely on the State and the Ministry of Sports to thank them and thank them very much ".
Hisham Nasr pointed out that the secret of the victory of the Egyptian team at the World Handball Championship in Macedonia was the work and self-denial, pointing out that the elements of the national team had been selected on the basis of the competence and not otherwise.
The president of the Egyptian Handball Federation said the plan was clear at first, pointing out that Egypt had asked to host the World Championship in 2021 was the youth team, which won the bronze at the world and the junior team as the core of the first team.
