A simple test .. Avoid heart attacks before the years!

With a simple blood test that costs only a few dirhams but is avoided in the event of a major health crisis, doctors are able to detect signs of heart attack years before they occur.

British doctors have recently tested a protein called Troponin, a highly sensitive protein in the blood, which is released into the bloodstream by the heart muscle when it is damaged, the British newspaper The Times reported on Monday.

Scientists tested the new test to find out if patients with chest pain had a heart attack. This test has been approved as a predictive test.

Doctors can test heart attacks 10 years before they occur.

Current predictions for heart attacks rely on lifestyle, age, and weight to determine if a person has a heart attack within 10 years.

"We can use troposon levels as a measure of heart health more directly than current screening tools," said Nick Mills, a cardiologist and vascular scientist at the University of Edinburgh, who led the test.

"The technology used to measure troponin in the blood has become well developed to know about previous heart attack or potential infections, as well as to confirm heart health in general."

"These tests can help doctors determine the effectiveness of certain treatments," he said. "The amount of troponin in the body determines the treatment and the degree of body treatment."

"It's not enough to check the level of troponin in the blood to control heart health," said Ms. Mills. "Exercise, diet changes, and drug use are the best ways to prevent stroke and heart attacks."
