Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that there is a way for Real Madrid to regain their historic goal, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, in his stronghold “Santiago Bernabeu” next summer.
Marca has indicated that this deal could be complicated for Ronaldo, due to the high taxes in Spain, compared to what he pays in Italy, but there is a way around this issue.

The newspaper highlighted the statements of the CEO of “Himnus Football Lawyers”, Tony Roca, who said: “Ronaldo has a special tax system in Italy”.
And Tony added: “Ronaldo didn’t go to Italy by chance, but because it’s the country that enjoys better tax treatment in the big five European leagues.”
To clarify the tax difference between Italy and Spain, Ronaldo pays 225 thousand euros each year to the Italian Treasury on the income that reaches the Portuguese, or nearly 40 million euros per year, but in Spain , the total amount paid by the fiscal donor can reach 20 million euros on the same amount.
The newspaper close to Real Madrid explained that the “Madeira missile” will escape exorbitant bills from the Spanish tax authorities, if it moves to Real Madrid and signs a contract for only one year, which means it will only pay 19% personal income not counting photographic rights.
But if this trick is implemented, Ronaldo, 36, will be forced to leave Spain completely before June 30, 2022, as he will go from being a non-resident to a resident of the country.
