The Egyptian chain Five decided to appoint Hassan Shehata as technical director of the Pharaohs team.
The five-member commission appointed by FIFA, led by Amr Al-Janaini, has decided to assume the technical responsibility of Hassan Shehata for the team "Pharaohs", for his previous successes with the "Pharaohs", where he had led them to win the title of champion of Africa of Nations three times in a row.
He also said that Ahmed Hossam Mido would be the general coach, Mohamed Shawki as assistant coach and Essam El Hadary as goalkeeper coach.
It is expected to officially reveal the coach of the Egyptian national team over the next week, after the announcement of the Committee of Five, who will lead the Football Association in the period to come.
FIFA decided last Tuesday to appoint a committee to manage the Egyptian Football Federation following the resignation of the president of the federation, Hani Abu Rida, and all the members of the board of directors.
